- ➤ After 18 months of construction, a new library (41,000 sqft) overlooking MLK Boulevard in Historic Westside is set to open on Dec. 9. KSNV
- ➤ Beginning Saturday, Dec. 6, the Clark County Fire Department will join the 24th annual 'Fill the Fire Truck' toy drive. Fire trucks will be parked at select Walmart stores and fire stations until Dec. 21 — Burn Foundation donations end on Dec. 22. Clark County
- ➤ On Tuesday, Dec. 2, local kids received donated toys during a drop-off event organized by Maverick Helicopters and Speedway Children's Charities — the initiative brought festive cheer to families in need. KSNV
EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ The Clark County School District and the Educators Association signed a memorandum of understanding allowing teachers to donate sick leave to one another. The agreement aims to help educators better cover absences. KSNV
