GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ The Nevada Highway Patrol announced its participation in the Joining Forces traffic safety campaign to improve road safety—state officers will work with partners to share safety tips—and guide drivers during upcoming efforts. KSNV
SPORTS NEWS
- ➤ UNLV volleyball ended its season with a 3-0 win over San Jose State at The Pavilion on Saturday, finishing with a 13-15 record. The team held a Senior Day ceremony (honoring Alondra, Isha, and Kennedy) to recognize three seniors with a post-match tribute. KSNV
- ➤ UNLV women’s basketball head coach Lindy La Rocque announced she signed six new players for the upcoming 2026-27 season — including local standout Keonni 'Bubbles' Lewis — marking her fifth recruiting class. She said the recruits bring strong skills for both offense and defense as the team prepares for a competitive season. KSNV
- ➤ Henderson hosted its third annual F1 watch party — the event offered free food, Formula 1 merchandise and a large screen for fans to enjoy the race that ended at 9:30 p.m. in Las Vegas. Guests donated animal supplies for a raffle that will award two free tickets to the 2026 F1 race to benefit Henderson Animal Protective Services. KSNV
