- ➤ Hope For The City partnered with The Maxx Crosby Foundation to fight hunger and support youth drug prevention as it launches the inaugural Electric City Light Show—a drive-thru holiday event in Henderson from November 12 to January 4. The event will feature millions of synchronized lights and festive tunnels while offering families warm clothing, toys, and holiday meals. KSNV
GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ The City of Henderson honored its military heroes on Saturday at the Water Street Plaza Amphitheater during the annual Veterans Day Ceremony. The event featured new name engravings on the Veterans Memorial Wall—growing from the original 1,213 names to nearly 2,000—and a performance by the Henderson Symphony Orchestra. KSNV
- ➤ The Nevada Department of Transportation announced overnight lane closures on I-215 for pavement work that will improve nearly four miles between the I-15 interchange and Windmill Lane. Lane reductions will start tonight at 8 p.m. until 6 a.m. Monday and again from November 11 at 8 p.m. until 6 a.m. November 12 — motorists should use caution and choose alternate routes. KSNV
