- ➤ Public safety advocates in Henderson are pressing local officials to fix dangerous crosswalks near schools like Centennial Hills and Arbor View to help prevent more accidents. HEALTH NEWS
- ➤ Tenaya Clinic and Imaging Center opened in Southern Nevada by Nevada Heart & Vascular Center, the largest heart practice in the state. The 11,000-square-foot center offers new imaging equipment — including Siemens scanners, CTA and PET machines — and gives care for heart and blood vessel problems. KSNV

- ➤ 19-year-old Connor Zilisch leads the NASCAR Xfinity Series with top finishes in 10 of the last 12 races and is set to compete in the Focused Health 302 playoffs race at Las Vegas Motor Speedway tomorrow — he races for JR Motorsports in the No. 88 Chevrolet. He shared his excitement on ARC Las Vegas as he looks ahead to a racing weekend that will feature the South Point 400 NASCAR Cup Series race. KSNV
- ➤ The Golden Knights beat the Sharks 4-3 in overtime on Thursday night after a late error allowed Reilly Smith to score the winning goal. The Sharks repeated a pattern from last season as mistakes late in the game cost them their lead. KSNV
- ➤ Girl Scout Cookies will be sold at the Las Vegas Grand Prix next month as a new partnership between the race and Girl Scouts of Southern Nevada sets up cookie booths in the official fan zone and F1 Paddock. The scouts will also offer exclusive tours and meet-and-greet events with F1 Academy drivers—all proceeds will support their mission. KSNV
