EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ Parents, students, and staff from the Clark County School District walked and rode to school today as part of a program to boost pedestrian safety after 84 student incidents were reported this year, including 10 in the past week. School officials stressed that immediate community action is needed to keep kids safe on the road — a call for everyone to protect our children. KSNV
ENVIRONMENT NEWS
- ➤ Clark County’s DES and the Arbor Day Foundation are partnering to give 2,300 free trees this fall to fight urban heat in Southern Nevada—residents can claim a tree as the offer lasts for a limited time. KSNV
