- ➤ Cirque du Soleil today is offering a limited-time ticket promotion for Nevada residents with buy-one-get-one free tickets for KÀ, Mystère, and Mad Apple—guests must purchase online and show a valid Nevada or employee ID to redeem the offer. The deal also gives buy-one-get-one 50% off for O and Michael Jackson ONE along with retail discounts and free parking for up to three hours. KSNV
EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ The College Football Playoff Foundation donated $56,000 to R. Guild Gray Elementary School—$50,000 of which will remodel the library and boost classroom resources. The donation supports teacher retention and recognition in the Clark County School District. KSNV
GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ Clark County commissioners approved a resolution to create a mass casualty database designed to identify and reunify victims — the permission-based system ensures all impacted persons can access long-term recovery services via the Resiliency and Justice Center and complies with HIPAA privacy rules. SPORTS NEWS
- ➤ In August, the Nevada Supreme Court ruled in favor of Jon Gruden's lawsuit against the NFL by rejecting the league’s request for rehearing—allowing open hearings to proceed in Clark County District Court as Gruden contends that leaked emails led to his resignation. Attorney Sam Mirejovsky said the NFL could still appeal the ruling up to the Supreme Court. KSNV
