- ➤ Pat Dalton Amico, owner of Viva Tequila, said his business is struggling amid rising costs and lower consumer spending over the last six to seven months—he uses live entertainment and themed nights to attract customers while urging Henderson residents to support local small businesses. KSNV
ENVIRONMENT NEWS
- ➤ Cox Las Vegas employees joined Henderson officials today to plant 30 new trees at O'Callaghan Park using a $10,000 grant from the Cox Conserves sustainability program—this effort is part of a succession project for the 46-year-old park. The city plans to add 100 trees by next year. KSNV
HEALTH NEWS
- ➤ A local nonprofit has warned that synthetic kratom use is growing in our community, with reports showing its use by various groups including unhoused individuals. CEO David Marlon said 7-OH— a compound 13 times stronger than morphine— could lead to higher addiction rates if sold without better regulation. KSNV
