Good morning, Henderson.

Clark County schools have improved their STAR ratings as more than 136 of nearly 370 schools raised their scores in the 2024-2025 school year—48 schools earned five stars while a local elementary school jumped to four stars; teachers said better core instruction and parent involvement helped boost math and English proficiency, though some proficiency details are delayed due to a cyber-attack.

Henderson has designated Raiders Way as the Champions District today ahead of the Raiders' home opener and installed monument signs celebrating the teams' Super Bowl and WNBA wins — the signs were created by YESCO.

The plaques honor the teams that built strong ties with the city when they established their local headquarters.
