- ➤ Help of Southern Nevada finished its 14th annual HELP2O water drive by collecting more than 68,000 water bottles since May 28 — partnerships with groups like the Las Vegas Aviators helped support at-risk families and unhoused individuals. KSNV
HEALTH NEWS
- ➤ A local foundation created in memory of Julie and Justin funds sober living, rehabs and mental health services during Suicide Prevention Awareness Month—aiming to ease the pain of those coping with loss—and will host a gala in October to raise further support. KSNV
- ➤ State officials issued new guidance that lets chain pharmacies offer the updated COVID-19 vaccine after days of uncertainty. CVS has begun offering the vaccine to eligible people in line with FDA and CDC protocols—ensuring those 65 and older or with health issues can get vaccinated. KSNV
