GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ Today the Nevada DMV reopened after a cyber attack closed several state agencies—Gov. Lombardo said a press conference will be held Thursday to update the public on restoring services as some online offerings remain affected. KSNV
- ➤ District Attorney Steve Wolfson announced he will run for re-election in 2026—he has served since his 2012 appointment and won elections in 2014, 2018, and 2022 while marking a 45-year journey from law clerk to top prosecutor. KSNV
HEALTH NEWS
- ➤ Residents in Nevada are confused because updated COVID-19 vaccines for high-risk groups are not available on CVS+Walgreens apps, and CVS said MinuteClinic stores will offer the vaccine once supplies arrive after ACIP and CDC approval. The issues are due to state rules and limited approvals that delay pharmacy dispensing. KSNV
