CRIME NEWS
- ➤ The Henderson Police Department is asking the public to help find Leonor Martel, a 93-year-old woman last seen on August 24 near Duarte Drive and Manzanita Street (9:28 a.m.) who is considered endangered (due to her age and weather conditions). KSNV
GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ The Regional Transportation Commission reported that high winds and dust on US-95 south of I-11 near Railroad Pass are reducing visibility and affecting drivers near mile marker 53. Motorists are advised to drive carefully as these conditions continue. KSNV
- ➤ NDOT announced an updated schedule for nightly lane and ramp closures on I-215—aimed at preserving pavement on nearly four miles between I-15 and Windmill Lane—from August 24 to August 28; specific closures on Monday include the southbound Airport Connector and Warm Springs Road on-ramps for eastbound I-215. Motorists are advised to take alternate routes and note that no restrictions are planned for Labor Day from August 30 to September 1. KSNV
