- ➤ Yesterday, the Raiders hosted their annual back-to-school celebration by giving free haircuts and school supplies to youth from local community centers + several players joined the event to support the students. They will work with five small businesses to offer more free hairstyling services across Southern Nevada in the coming week. KSNV
HEALTH NEWS
- ➤ Throughout August, the American Red Cross will offer free A1C tests to blood, platelet, and plasma donors—providing a key measure of blood sugar levels for early diabetes risk detection. Donors making a donation from August 1 to August 28 will also receive a $15 e-gift card and are advised to follow up with their healthcare provider if the results are high. KSNV
SPORTS NEWS
- ➤ Summerlin South Little League won 17-0 over Colorado in the Mountain Region opener held in San Bernardino as dozens of families cheered at Nacho Daddy in downtown Las Vegas. The team will play Utah on Tuesday at 6 p.m. on ESPN 2, and the tournament winner will earn a spot in the Little League World Series starting August 13. KSNV
