- ➤ Over 40 volunteers joined at a clean-up site in Henderson for Living Grace Homes’ first Day of Caring to raise funds for its Safe & Sound Campaign, which aims to expand shelter services for young mothers. The group said the funds will help buy a move-in ready building that adds 8 beds—raising total capacity to 24 beds and providing more space for programs. KSNV
GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ The City of Henderson announced it will invest up to $7 million to upgrade its Animal Protection Services facility by renovating the existing structure, expanding dog kennels, adding shade structures, and building a new office building for staff—located adjacent to the current facility. The design phase is underway and details may change as staff and volunteer feedback is considered. KSNV
