- ➤ Las Vegas Science and Natural History Museum, formerly known as Las Vegas Natural History Museum, will hold a ribbon-cutting ceremony on July 11 at 11 a.m. in partnership with the Henderson Chamber of Commerce. The museum will also host a mad scientist-themed birthday celebration on July 12 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.—offering interactive activities like LEGO building, science experiments and a fossil dig. 8 News Now

- ➤ Home prices in Southern Nevada reached a record high in June as the median price for a single-family home hit $485,000 — a 1% increase from May and a 2.1% jump from last June. Nearly 7,000 listings marked a 70% increase from last year and overall sales, including condos and townhomes, pointed to a nearly four‐month housing supply. KSNV
