- ➤ M Resort Spa Casino will host its 'Red, White - Boots' Fourth of July celebration on July 4 with a 15-minute fireworks display choreographed to music beginning at 9 p.m. The resort partners with the Henderson Chamber of Commerce and Findlay Honda and will offer free public viewing along with a VIP area at M Pool available from 10:30 a.m. for $35 for adults and $15 for children. GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ The Nevada Department of Transportation said that updated freeway signs will cause overnight lane closures and detours on parts of Summerlin Parkway, I-11, and other nearby roads that run from Henderson to Kyle Canyon Road. Drivers will face closures and reduced lanes tonight and on upcoming nights—work will be done in a 5-mile zone with changes subject to the weather. KSNV
