- ➤ City officials remind Henderson motorists that work on the 215 Beltway widening project near Green Valley Ranch will begin Sunday at 9 p.m. Officials say daytime work will leave three lanes open while nighttime work (including a pedestrian bridge on Green Valley Parkway) will leave two lanes open until the project is completed in 2028. - ➤ Governor Lombardo signed two bills to boost Nevada’s climate resilience and improve worker safety—Assembly Bill 96 funds cooling centers and shaded areas in underserved neighborhoods and takes effect July 1 while Senate Bill 260, with parts already in effect since June 10, sets new protocols for outdoor workers during wildfire smoke events. These measures address urgent public health and labor concerns and support long-term community protection. KSNV
