- ➤ Lee Canyon’s Mountain Fest will take place Saturday, June 27, featuring live music, outdoor activities and a craft beer garden on Rabbit Peak — gates open at 9 a.m. and performances start at noon. KSNV
ECONOMY NEWS
- ➤ AAA reports that Nevada’s average regular gas price dropped six cents to $5.21 this week, offering drivers a small break. Prices are expected to remain high for summer travel as local averages in Las Vegas and Reno continue to trend upward. KSNV
GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ The Nevada Department of Transportation will close the ramp linking southbound U.S. 95 to southbound I-15 for three nights starting Monday, Sept. 16 from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. as crews finish final work on Project Neon. KSNV
SPORTS NEWS
- ➤ UNLV football will have 11 national TV appearances in the 2026 season. The Rebels will begin with a home game against Memphis on Aug. 29 at 7 p.m. on Fox + additional matchups on The CW and CBS Sports Network mark head coach Dan Mullen’s second season. KSNV
- ➤ The NHL released two schedule scenarios for the Stanley Cup Final pending today’s Eastern Conference Final; if Carolina clinches Game 5, the Golden Knights will start on Tuesday, June 2 in Raleigh — if the series extends, the final will begin on Thursday, June 4. KSNV
