GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ Traffic safety advocates have launched the '100 Safest Days of Summer' campaign this Memorial Day weekend to promote slower driving and reduce roadway deaths in the Valley. Officials plan increased enforcement and education after fatality rates fell 34% compared with last year and 46 deaths were recorded so far. KSNV
- ➤ Road crews will close the ramp linking southbound U.S. 95 to southbound I-15 at the Spaghetti Bowl for three nights (from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. on Monday, Sept. 16) as they complete final items on Project Neon, a $1 billion roadway project finished earlier this year. KSNV
