CRIME NEWS
- ➤ Henderson police solved a 44-year-old cold case involving Vicki Radig after DNA testing confirmed Walter Bradley DeMint as the only suspect—although he died in 2007, the breakthrough gives her family needed closure. KSNV
- ➤ On May 14, authorities arrested 26-year-old Delvison Escalona-Hernandez in Southern California on suspicion of fatally stabbing 24-year-old Yexon Lopez Escalona in east Las Vegas on May 4—he is held pending extradition. KSNV
GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ Clark County, Las Vegas, North Las Vegas and Henderson are close to finalizing a multijurisdictional business license for sidewalk vendors so they can apply for one license across all four areas — the plan requires a state business license, a valid health permit, and a health card for each operator, and the proposal will be discussed at upcoming public meetings. Applicants may also add more jurisdictions to their license if they meet the requirements. KSNV
