Good morning, Henderson.

Clark County Fire Department found a deceased person at MGM Signature near Harmon Avenue and Koval Lane on Friday morning at 10:57 a.m.—responders arrived four minutes after the call and the investigation is ongoing.

Judge Erika Ballou was removed from her criminal cases after a public defender accused her of suggesting an improper relationship with a client, and an order filed Thursday reassigned her cases to another department while she takes on extra civil cases.

The ACLU filed a lawsuit on Thursday against the local school district, alleging it violated Nevada law and the First Amendment by restricting a graduating student’s regalia, including a stole reading 'Black Girl Magic' (and other items representing her achievements).

The suit claims that unclear district guidance has led schools to enforce inconsistent rules that limit students’ expression at graduation.
