- ➤ City officials in Henderson approved a new ordinance in December that bans e-bikes with throttles in parks and on trails—only pedal-assist models are allowed outside designated motor vehicle areas and signs will remind residents of the change. KSNV
HEALTH NEWS
- ➤ The Southern Nevada Health District is investigating cases of acute gastrointestinal illness linked to frozen oysters (imported from South Korea) after five Clark County residents reported vomiting, diarrhea, nausea, and stomach pain. The agency is working with the FDA and state health partners to trace the source and assess any further risk. KSNV
- ➤ The Southern Nevada Health District announced Monday that five Clark County residents experienced acute gastrointestinal illness after eating frozen half-shell oysters from South Korea. The agency is working with the Nevada Division of Public and Behavioral Health and FDA — the oysters were only available in restaurants — and advises anyone who got sick in April to seek medical help. 8 News Now
