Good morning, Henderson.

Yesterday, Cowabunga Bay in Henderson celebrated Cinco de Mayo with music, cultural performances, festive food and waterpark fun — and Cowabunga Canyon in Summerlin opened for the season.

Both parks will honor mothers on Sunday, May 11 by offering free admission with a full-price day ticket.

Car enthusiasts gathered for the Lake Las Vegas Car Show on May 3 at the Lake Las Vegas Sports Club where they admired classic cars, high-performance vehicles, and custom builds—attendees also donated suggested funds to support the Tunnels to Towers Foundation and enjoyed treats from local food trucks.

On Friday evening, the Henderson Symphony Orchestra collaborated with Cadence in Henderson to present 'JAWS In Concert' at the masterplan community, drawing more than 2,500 people and featuring food trucks and a beer garden (for those aged 21 and over).

The performance showcased John Williams' iconic score from the film JAWS and energized the start of the weekend.
