- ➤ A new west Henderson fire station will host a grand opening on May 7 with tours starting at 10 a.m.—the station at 2000 Via Centro will serve west Henderson and Inspirada and add an extra training center for firefighters. KSNV
ACCIDENTS NEWS
- ➤ A teenager died Monday night in an e-bike crash involving a pickup truck near Jones and Lake Mead—county officials plan to propose a new ordinance that would require minors to wear helmets and set a 15 mph speed limit for e-bike use on roadways, sidewalks, and lanes. KSNV
CRIME NEWS
- ➤ Clark County Chief Deputy District Attorney Marc DiGiacomo argues that Duane Davis missed the April 16 deadline for a motion for a new trial on his jail fight conviction—his motion was filed on April 18—and a hearing is set for May 27 while Davis still awaits his murder trial for Tupac Shakur's killing scheduled for Feb. 9 next year.
