- ➤ The Nevada Department of Employment, Training and Rehabilitation offers guidance to DHS workers+contractors to apply for unemployment benefits while their paychecks are disrupted during the federal shutdown. Affected employees should note that once the shutdown ends, any back pay received will require repayment. KSNV
- ➤ Local lawmakers in Clark County are planning to add permit requirements and safety courses for e-bike and scooter riders to help protect students walking near schools. A joint working group from law enforcement and schools will share recommendations next month & officials stress the need for basic road rules. KSNV
