- ➤ Clark County Commission Chairman Michael Naft unveiled Harmonies — an interactive music-themed public art installation by LeMonde Studio — at Silverado Ranch Park on Tuesday. The exhibit features four giant musical instruments that come to life with a turn of a crank and will be on display from Feb. 15 through April 1. KSNV
ENVIRONMENT NEWS
- ➤ A brush fire broke out Tuesday morning near I-11 + Sunset Road in a busy retail area, prompting local fire crews to respond quickly and contain the flames. KSNV
- ➤ Southern Nevada residents with vehicles (1998 to 2006) who fail their emissions tests are eligible for repair vouchers up to $975 offered by Smog Free Clark County. The program helps drivers meet emissions standards and supports cleaner air. KSNV
GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ The Henderson Fire Department will host the Women in the Fire Service workshop on Saturday, April 11 at the Fire Training Center, offering hands-on training and lectures for women interested in firefighting careers. Registration is free for participants aged 18 and older — limited to the first 50 registrants until March 31. KSNV
