- ➤ Residents at Hebron Transitional Housing said that new management eliminated the food pantry, clothing closet and community kitchen access without notice — forcing low-income residents to face high grocery prices while one resident organizes a food drive with drop-offs at Hebron offices at 1150 S Las Vegas Blvd. KSNV
GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ City of Henderson will host three summer hiring fairs to offer part-time positions for pool and seasonal work. Residents can learn more and plan to attend soon + additional event details will be provided later. KSNV
- ➤ Henderson’s roadwork along Boulder Highway continues for another year and a half as part of a plan to improve safety—adding bike and bus lanes, new signals, and brighter street lights—and while crash data shows overall incidents have dropped, some residents with mobility challenges say they feel less safe.
