- ➤ Clark County schools are asking community volunteers to make home visits to help boost student attendance under the Bright Futures Initiative. Superintendent Jhone Ebert said the program targets students with chronic absenteeism (missing 10%+ of school days) and aims to connect families with needed resources. KSNV
- ➤ News 3 invites parents, staff, students and community members to offer feedback on the school year's progress in Clark County + the survey is now open after the first half was completed to help shape upcoming education plans. KSNV
GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ Henderson police report that illegal e-bikes and e-motorcycles, which can exceed 28 mph (some as high as 50 mph), are being used on cycling trails, raising safety concerns as residents note children as young as 10 ride unsupervised and record high-speed chases on their cameras. KSNV
