Clark County School District announced that new start times (middle at 7:30 a.m., high schools at 8:30 a.m., and elementary at 9:15 a.m.) will take effect next school year after a December survey; some parents voiced concerns about earlier middle school times during Tuesday’s board meeting.

The City of Henderson will break ground on its new preschool and early childhood education center on Monday, Jan.

26 at 122 Scarhill Track Ave (priced at $17.6 million) to boost childcare and offer hands-on training for college students. The facility is set to complete in 2027.
